Ever gone to a store and not had to hand over your id. Think about this if you had been asked would your card be safer or less safe. When at a store an Employee has every right in the world to ask for id. It is even required by most state laws. If some one was to steal your card and there name was not on it then the card would be denied. The back of the card where you are suppose to sign some people right See ID or Check ID. While this is good the card still needs to be signed as it is a contract and not valid until signed. Another thing is don’t use your spouses card your name is not on the card. While most do not think is a problem, it is. The Reason is while most people are honest there are some for example during divorce that have ran up there spouses card. Simple things can save you a head. Just Remember show ID. If your worried about your identity just think that while someone could steal your ID chances are they got it out of your trash.
