Christmas is almost apon us.

by LordSpector on Dec.21, 2009, under Uncategorized

Tis the Season to be jolly. As the Season moves on through more and more people have their stockings hung with care. Those who do not have the funds to bring all their Christmas cheer another year will soon be here. Another year might reverse the dis pare of the past and create a new sense of responsibility to those around. Overspending created the problem, but spending is the only way out. At the end of next year we will see where the economy is. With luck it will be better.

Space History.

by LordSpector on Dec.02, 2009, under Uncategorized

I created the start page for the space history section. There is still a long road ahead to get all the history pages up but in due time that will be completed.

Printing Photos.

by LordSpector on Dec.02, 2009, under Uncategorized

Printing photos has become easier over time and now with machine like the Fuji kiosk and Kodak Kiosk it is even easier. At the location where I work we have a pair of Kodak Kiosk and we review all the pictures to verify nothing is copyright or we have a photo release to print. We also check to make sure there are no nude photos. When we deny photo for copyright most people get very upset because they paid for them. It is so hard to get some people to understand that the photographer owns the rights to the pictures and without their permission we can not reproduce any of them. They feel they own the pictures since they paid for them but really what was bought was only a copy of the prints. The other issue with the nude photos is when denied most ask why they can’t print them. I feel like telling them do you really need to ask.

More Changes.

by LordSpector on Dec.01, 2009, under Uncategorized

I have rolled out some more changes to the sites layout. Adding the Linux Shop section to the site. I hope to create some more links that can be used to show a persons interest in the Linux Operating System. I have also started the ground work for the Space Technology History section of my site. There is a lot of history to put of that section and it will take quite a while to get even a small portion of it up.

Fonts…

by LordSpector on Dec.01, 2009, under Uncategorized

It would be so nice if a font in one OS looked the same in another. Currier New is a very nice font but it looks bad in Linux and great in Windows web pages. I changed my Web font to Georgia to make the look more readable but, I still like the Currier New font better.
