by LordSpector on Mar.05, 2010, under Uncategorized
I have been working hard on next gen and it is progressing well. I am not 100% sure on the colors but, I do like it. The update a rewrite of sections is going well and I should have more up soonish… Is that a word, oh well.

I see dead code…
by LordSpector on Feb.19, 2010, under Uncategorized
Dead code everywhere is being given a funeral. As I continue to shift more to XHTML to increase my productivity I have fixed many issues on the site. It does make things much easier, but it is going to take some getting use to. The way things are so strict is good but on the other side of things it does make the transition much more work than some of the coding I have done.

IPad

What can really be said about it. Great idea, well sort of. It all really has been done before. It is a touch with a large screen. A Laptop with no keyboard. It is a improved ebook reader. I am not impressed. For the price I get a larger screen and newer processor. I won’t be getting one.

Funny Commercials
by LordSpector on Feb.17, 2010, under Uncategorized
Some of these lawyer commercials are fairly amusing. The last one I saw says you may qualify for cash if you suffered from severe side effects or death. Well I guess now that I’m dead I should collect. Um wait a minute I guess I missed that commercial then…

Free Credit Report
by LordSpector on Feb.17, 2010, under Uncategorized
Get your free credit report at annualcreditreport.com. Don’t fall for the free credit score commercials as they require enrollment in triple advantage. Doesn’t really make it free when you have to buy something else. Annual Credit Report doesn’t include your score but the score for most is not as important as making sure you don’t have any bad stuff on your report. If you really need the score you can buy for a one time low cost instead of a monthly fee.

One of those days…
by LordSpector on Feb.16, 2010, under Uncategorized
Ever had one of those days where nothing seems to go right. Well it seems that today is just one of those days. It sucks how they normally follow a long weekend away from work. It seems to be unavoidable but I guess that is just part of life having the first day backing always having so many problems.

More CSS…
by LordSpector on Feb.16, 2010, under Uncategorized
I have been working very hard on improving my XHTML Verification. I have almost past the test for start.ionfusion.net, which is the first stop to improving my XHTML. The only issues that remain are not caused by my code it is entirely outside code. I have one more issue to nail out before I call my XHTML upgrade a success on start.ionfusion.net but, I’m almost there.

XHTML, CSS, what a pain…
by LordSpector on Feb.15, 2010, under Uncategorized
I have been working on the XHTML updates and also CSS to get the site up to standard and have it validate. Only a few more errors to go after cleaning up all the scripting for just one page. Once I get all the CSS figured out the rest will be cake but, until then.

Updates…
by LordSpector on Feb.14, 2010, under Uncategorized
I made a new Logo. I have been trying somethings out it flash but, they don’t look as good as the original. I have been looking at some CSS to make an attempt to update the style of the page and not need to use tables in so many places for the same look. I hope I can incorporate the CSS as I have always had and issue with CSS getting along with me.

Constellation is dead!
by LordSpector on Feb.13, 2010, under Uncategorized
What a waste of money. I was not a fan of the program to begin with but, starting programs and canceling them shortly after the start is such a waste. The VentureStar program showed great promise as a new shuttle but, was canceled do to managers not listening to engineers. Switching to private launch equipment is a great idea but will set back return to space for many more years. In the long run this is a better plan as these companies will continue to develop better equipment than NASA can or ever will.
